Tap tempo is faster than guessing a BPM. If you can feel the groove of a song, tap it — Dashplan calculates the BPM from your taps and locks in the beat. Useful when you need to match a recorded version, set a consistent speed for a song that keeps rushing, or give the drummer a concrete target to aim for.
The metronome supports multiple time signatures out of the box. Whether you're rehearsing a straight 4/4 pop set, a 3/4 waltz for a wedding function, or a 6/8 feel, switch the time signature from the selector and the metronome adapts immediately — no second app needed.
BPM is also stored on each song in your Setlist Manager library. Add the tempo to a song once and it's always visible alongside the chords and lyrics when you open that song — so at rehearsal, the tempo reference is right there in the same tool, not buried in a separate note or band chat.
