Dashplan's Practice tool gives you a metronome without opening a separate app. Tap your desired tempo or dial it in precisely, select your time signature, and use it as the shared tempo reference for rehearsal.
Tap tempo is faster than guessing a BPM. If you can hum the feel of a song, tap it — Dashplan calculates the BPM from your taps and locks in the beat. Useful when you need to match a recorded version or set a consistent speed across rehearsals.
Different songs need different time signatures. Whether you're rehearsing a 4/4 pop set, a 3/4 waltz for a wedding function, or a 6/8 feel, the Practice metronome supports them all from a simple selector.

The metronome supports a wide BPM range from very slow tempos for ballads through to fast tempos for uptempo songs — covering the full range a working musician needs.
Does the metronome work on mobile?+
Yes. The Practice tool is part of the Dashplan web app, which runs on any device with a browser — phone, tablet, or laptop.
Can I save a tempo for a specific song?+
BPM is stored on each song in your Setlist Manager library — so the tempo is always right there alongside the chords and lyrics when you open a song.
